Summer Holidays

With our team fresh back from their summer holidays a plate of mash and a blog is called for.

As the new season nears kick off, the new kits are flying off the shelves, pre-season friendlies all over the globe, English football is getting bigger & bigger each year.

With clubs buying 'History' like it's up for auction and with the 'smaller' clubs stripped off their assets. Chelsea continue to be linked with a host of names, City are in advanced talks with Sergio Aguero and the original 'Big boys' Liverpool have gone from 'glamour' rags to riches with high profile signings such as Adams, Henderson & one of the most overrated players in the history of the sport Downing. God knows how Downing has managed over 20 caps for England!

United have again strengthened their squad with the signings of David de Gea, wing wizard Ashley Young  & the young centre half Phil Jones. Regardless if Chelsea sign Modric they won't catch United or City.

Welcome to the real Manchester, with the possibility of nearly every trophy up for grabs either going to The Red half of the city or The Blue half, the rest of the Country have gotta step up to the plate.

QPR find themselves back in the top tier, although in fairness they haven't spent the money many fans expected. With one of the worlds richest investors @ the club, could a glamour signing be on the cards before the end of the window?

Spurs fans must be scratching their heads! The doors seem to be stuck @ the lane, no ones leaving and no ones coming in! Parker was 'a dead cert' to join after The Hammers crashed into The Championship, could a swap deal be on the cards with a host of players heading to Upton Park?

Although some clubs have only just opened their wallets, Premier League clubs have still managed to spend a massive £194,675,000 between them! With transfer rumours reaching us all the time it's possible that that figure will be doubled by the time the window shuts!

Over the coming weeks we will be turning our attentions to the season ahead, from the players to look out for, tips and our dark horses.

One things for sure, if it's football we are on it!
